We conducted a thorough audit of Merlin Cinemas’ historic electricity, water and gas bills to check for any discrepancies and ensure that the client was on the best possible rates. Following this audit, we performed a formal tender for energy contracts on behalf of the cinema, to secure better tariffs.
The Boxfish team also helped with the installation of new utility supplies at their new sites. Despite there being no supply history, we were able to construct forecast data to ensure that suppliers provided particularly competitive prices.
We were successful in reducing the lead time for meter installation by more than two weeks—taking the pressure off the staff at Merlin Cinemas, and ensuring the new premises opened on time.
As a multi-site company with a deliberately small head office team, monitoring and checking all of our utilities has always been problematic.
