McKever Hotels East Limited, McKever Hotels South Limited, Access Accommodation Services Limited and McKever 99 Limited (all in administration) made up one of the country’s largest privately-owned hotel groups (known as ‘The Group’) with a nationwide chain of more than 20 hotels, apartments and hostels.
In March 2010, we were appointed to audit and manage energy procurements for The Group and to reduce energy costs.
We analysed The Group’s utility accounts, which included 14 electricity supplies and 9 gas supplies. This analysis generated a comprehensive and detailed report identifying areas where savings could be made.
We then went on to secure competitive energy contracts and negotiate refunds on behalf of The Group.
