Formed in 2011, Caledonia Housing Association has over 4,000 properties throughout Dundee, Angus, Perthshire, Fife, West Dunbartonshire, and in the Highland Council area.
Caledonia’s diverse portfolio of energy services includes over 300 supplies and an annual spend in the region of £830k. They began implementing a programme to reduce energy costs, reduce carbon, and invest in renewables to tackle fuel poverty. As part of this effort, they appointed us to handle energy procurement and management of their utility services.
We devised a successful energy procurement strategy, despite rising wholesale markets. We reduced energy costs considerably through a combination of market tracking, advance purchasing, tariff structuring, and open tendering.
Our management of utilities also ensured reliable and efficient control of costs, consumption, metering, invoice validation, contractual arrangements, and invoice processing solutions.
